UPDATES & RE-ENTRY PLAN

At this time, ALL IN-PERSON SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES AND OTHER CHURCH ACTIVITIES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. However, we have made provisions for members and others to engage virtually in bible study, prayer, fellowship and worship.

At this time, the Ray of Hope Baptist Church will not begin any plans for church re-opening/re-entry until after Labor Day. At that time, Phase-1 of the ROH Re-Entry plan will begin, which includes opening the church for small group gatherings such as Bible Study, Prayer Meetings, and Ministry Meetings. As we continue to assess progress and adhere to local, state, and federal guidelines, we will then make a decisions as to when to move toward Phase-2, which will include opening the church for Worship Services. Please continue to visit our website and social media platforms for updates.

ROH EMERGENCY RESOURCE CENTER & PANTRY

We are prepared with limited essential items, non-persishable food items and other resources to help those in need or who are home bound and cannot access food or essential items at this time. If you would like to request assistance please call the church hotline at 1-888-254-4055.

ADDITIONAL PREVENTIVE MEASURES

As a church, we have increased our cleaning and sanitation protocols and procedures. If you must go out or come to the church please adhere to all safety and preventive measures as recommended by the CDC and Maryland Department of Health.

Prevention Recommendations

There is currently no vaccine for COVID-19. Many experts are at work developing one. As with any new vaccine, it must be tested to make certain it is safe and effective. It may take over a year for a COVID-19 vaccine to become available.

You can take everyday preventive steps that are always recommended to slow the spread of respiratory illnesses like colds and flu:

  • Wear a face mask/covering that covers both your mouth and nose.
  • wash your hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds
  • use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol if soap and water are not available
  • avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  • clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using standard cleaning practices
  • avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • if you are sick, stay home, except when seeking medical care
